Driver

We are seeking a disciplined, highly responsible, and skilled Driver to join our team in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The ideal candidate must possess excellent defensive driving skills, a thorough knowledge of Mumbai’s complex road network, and the ability to transport passengers or goods safely and efficiently while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and punctuality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safe Transportation: Safely and punctually drive company, client, or commercial vehicles to assigned destinations across the sprawling Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR).
• Navigation Expertise: Efficiently navigate Mumbai’s high-density traffic, complex flyovers, and peak hour congestion, selecting the quickest and safest routes using both local knowledge and GPS tools.
• Compliance: Strictly adhere to all national and local traffic rules, road safety guidelines, and relevant RTO regulations at all times.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain the vehicle in impeccable, clean condition, manage fueling schedules, and conduct regular pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure mechanical soundness.
• Documentation: Accurately track trip details, routes, distances, fuel consumption, and required timings, and maintain meticulous logbooks.
• Professional Conduct: Transport passengers or goods with utmost care and responsibility, maintaining a polite, discreet, and professional demeanor, especially when interacting with senior management or clients.
• Reporting: Promptly report any mechanical defects, maintenance issues, traffic incidents, or operational delays to the supervisor.

Qualifications & Skills:

• License: Valid Driving License (LMV – Light Motor Vehicle) or appropriate Commercial Vehicle Endorsement/License as required by the role (critical for operating in Maharashtra).
• Route Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Mumbai’s major corridors, suburban routes, business districts (BKC, Nariman Point), and airport logistics.
• Behavior: Excellent communication skills, polite behavior, and a high level of discipline, patience, and composure required for driving in metro traffic.
• Technology: Basic ability to use smartphone GPS applications (Google Maps, etc.) for optimal route planning.
• Integrity: Demonstrated reliability, honesty, and responsibility.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience: 3–7 years of professional driving experience, preferably in a corporate environment, for senior executives, or in high-volume commercial logistics within a major metropolitan city like Mumbai. (Experienced commercial drivers are prioritized).
• Vehicle Types: Specific experience with the class of vehicle being driven (e.g., luxury sedans, SUVs, or specific commercial trucks/vans).
