Fuel Operator

We are looking for a dynamic, vigilant, and highly efficient Fuel Operator (Petrol Pump Attendant) to join our team in Mumbai, the financial capital of India and a city that never stops moving. Operating in the heart of this “Maximum City,” our station serves a massive volume of traffic, from iconic black-and-yellow taxis and BEST buses to high-end luxury cars and heavy commercial fleets. You will be a key player in keeping Mumbai’s fast-paced life fueled and on the move.

Key Responsibilities

• High-Volume Fueling: Accurately and quickly operate dispensers for Petrol, Diesel, and CNG, ensuring zero-error delivery during the city’s intense peak-hour traffic.
• Digital Transaction Management: Expertly handle high-frequency payments via UPI, credit/debit cards, and corporate fuel cards, ensuring swift billing to keep vehicle queues moving.
• Strict Safety Enforcement: Maintain the highest levels of safety in a crowded urban environment. Rigorously enforce “No Smoking,” “Mobile Off,” and “Engine Off” protocols to ensure the safety of both customers and the surrounding city infrastructure.
• Express Vehicle Care: Provide rapid value-added services such as nitrogen air filling, windshield cleaning, and basic lubricant checks for commuters on tight schedules.
• Compliance & Hygiene: Maintain a clean and organized dispensing island and assist in daily stock tallying to ensure the station meets the strict quality and quantity standards of Mumbai’s petroleum regulations.
• Pro-active Customer Service: Greet customers with a professional and energetic attitude, providing assistance in Marathi, Hindi, or English to cater to the city’s diverse and cosmopolitan population.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Minimum 10th pass; must be comfortable using digital billing interfaces and POS machines.
• Linguistic Proficiency: Fluency in Hindi and Marathi is essential for local communication; a basic understanding of English is highly preferred for interacting with corporate and luxury segment clients.
• Numerical Agility: Excellent mental math skills to handle fast-paced transactions and inventory counting without errors.
• Attributes: Exceptional physical stamina to handle the tropical climate and long standing shifts, a sharp eye for detail, and a calm demeanor under pressure.

Experience

• 1–3 years preferred in a high-traffic fuel station, retail outlet, or quick-service environment.
• Freshers with a “Mumbaikar” spirit—fast learners with a high sense of responsibility—are also encouraged to apply.
• Prior experience with CNG dispensing or EV charging protocols is a significant advantage.
